Beijing Isotope Nuclear Electronic Machine Co., Ltd （called “BINEM” for short） is a state-owned holding company and is affiliated to China Institute of Atomic Energy. BINEM is engaged in developing and manufacturing digital image inspection system of container goods/bulk goods/all kinds of vehicles.
BINEM relies on the strong technology support from China Institute of Atomic Energy and makes close cooperation with the First Research Institute of Ministry of Public Security. They manufactured eight different products including three series for meeting the customers’ requirement. The inspection system of BINEM won the bidding three times successively in Afghanistan which is the international bidding for the inspection system. It is hold by The European Community represented by the European Commission, for and on behalf of the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Now the inspection system runs very well in hard conditions of Afghanistan. In addition, the first inspection system produced by BINEM has commercially operated 10 years in Combodia and the operator got generous return. All the performance of the system shows its specialties which is reliability in quality and competitive in price.
BINEM not only achieved five patents of China and also got Patent of The U.S and Europe. BINEM become the first enterprise who possess international patent among the companies of the China National Nuclear Corporation. In addition, the system was awarded ”Eureka” by World’s Fair and second prize by state commission of science and technology for national defense industry. In 2010, BINEM was awarded excellent Prize by State Intellectual Property Office of P.R.C.
According to the policy of “Green Passage” and the demand of highway business owner, BINEM actively participate in the correlative task discussion organized by Ministry of Communications in 2009. After a year, BINEM used self-financing and developed successfully a unit of low radiation Cobalt-60 Gamma ray digital image inspection system. This product will provide the strong technology support and help for caring out the policy of “green passage”. Under the background of science and culture of China Institute of Atomic Energy, BINEM forms “Cohesion, Innovation and Share” culture ideas.
